Getten Credit Company has adopted a privacy policy that will help keep your financial  information private and secure. This policy applies to products or services which we provide  primarily for your personal, family or household purposes. We have taken the steps described  in this Notice to protect your privacy.  

Definitions 

  1. “We,” “us” and “our” mean Getten Credit Company 
  2. “Federal Privacy Act” means the privacy provisions in the Title V of the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act and also includes the applicable federal privacy regulations issued under that  Act. 
  3. “Customer” means an individual consumer who has a continuing relationship with us  under which we provide the consumer one or more financial products or services within  the meaning of the Federal Privacy Act that are to be used primarily for person, family,  or household purposes (or that individual’s legal representative). 
  4. “Consumer report” means any written, oral, or other communication from a consumer  reporting agency which bears on a consumer’s creditworthiness, credit standing, credit  capacity, character, general reputation, personal characteristics or mode of living which  is used or expected to be used in whole or in part for the purpose of serving as a factor  in establishing the consumer eligibility for: (a) credit or insurance to be used primarily for  personal, family, or household purposes; (b) employment purposes; or (c) any other  purpose authorized under section 604 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.  
  5. “Customer Information” means our personally identifiable financial information about a  consumer that is considered “non-public personal information” within the meaning of the  Federal Privacy Act.  

Information Collection, Use and Sharing 

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect  information that you voluntarily give us. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.  

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms 
  • Information about your transactions with us or others 

o Information we receive from an outside company, such as a consumer report  from a credit bureau, providing your credit history or employment verifications.

  • We do not and will not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers  or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. 
  • Our employees are trained to respect customer privacy and to access customer  information only when they have a business reason to know the information. 

Security 

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the  website, your information is protected both online and offline.  

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as bank information and/or credit card  information), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify  this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at  the beginning of on the webpage. 

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your  information offline. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information  are kept in a secure environment.
